Alston is set to release his highly anticipated and first gospel CD, entitled “True Gospel”. The project includes collaborations with Grammy award winning and talented songstress, Regina Belle on “Irreplaceable” and “Jesus is a Friend of Mine” with vocalist and composer, Will Downing”. Also, Gerald’s two sons, Todd and Calvin Alston and cousin, Dwight Field, son of the late Johnny Field of the original Five Blind Boys of Alabama are featured on the project. The album has a contemporary style with traditional gospel roots and music for all ages to enjoy.
